If you are a keen digital photographer who has never shot film or a film photography enthusiast who wants to learn more, this workshop if for you. Cam will cover all the fundamental aspects of shooting film in 2025 during this practical workshop. 

Topics Covered: 
• Understanding Film - Film formats (35mm, 120 and large format), B&W vs Colour, Film Speeds.

• Film Equipment and Functions - Loading and unloading film, Light Meters (hand held vs in-camera), Manual settings.

• Exposure basics

• Second Hand buying tips

• Developing Film - B&W and Colour, equipment and chemicals needed. 

• Scanning and printing options

• Practical Shooting sessions - studio portrait and street photography.

 

For the practical shooting segments, Cam will provide everyone with a roll of B&W 35mm film which he will collect at the end of the workshop. Cam will then develop your film during the week after, scan the negatives and provide you with a Dropbox link to your files. He will also provide the original negatives at a later date.
